Saddened at the news of Bill's passing. He was incredibly well-loved by all of us at United Way. I have so many years of wonderful memories and laughter working alongside him. A real salt of the earth! Honored to have him as one of first friends moving to Roanoke, and starting my job at United Way. His precious friendship made even the hardest days bearable. Praying for the family and friends that he's left behind. May we all learn from the wonderful example of service, giving and hard work that Bill has left behind.
