Very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was my company commander in the USAR for the eight years that I served. He was a good soldier, a straight shooter, and a great human being. I did not often cross paths with him in the years since my reserve days, but whenever I did he greeted me with a big smile and a warm handshake. I am sure he will be sorely missed by family and friends.
