The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Pollard can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Children's Christmas

My father and mother are John everyone knew him as Gabby and Billie Blevins. My mother told us children a story once that my dad had been laid off from the coal mines of West Virginia, we had no Christmas, none! nothing, when my uncle Bob and aunt Hazel found out they never said a word to anyone, they just showed up at our house with a trunk load of wrapped toys to place under our tree. Enough for my brother, sister amd myself. My mom and dad were never allowed to tell us who the presents were from untill we were grown! My uncle Bob was a kind and loving man, I'm going to miss him so, but I know I will see him again soon in Heaven. So it's not good bye forever but just for a while. You're in God's garden now uncle Bob, and I hope you and daddy are telling some good stories together. I will always love you ❤
