Tamara Duncan Speight, 47, passed away on Tuesday, November 29th, 2016. Born December 20, 1968 to Ural and Emmaline Duncan in Salem, Va. She was preceded in death by her father, Ural Duncan and mother, Emmaline Duncan.She is survived by her sons, Spenser Duncan and wife, Katie Duncan, Matthew Duncan, and Tanner Speight; daughters, Hannah Speight and Emma Speight; granddaughters, Madison Duncan, Raegan Duncan, and Kennedy Duncan; brother, Steve Duncan.Tammy was a beloved mother and friend who served many years with the Fort Lewis rescue squad and was considered family at the Emmaus Road Community Church. She was a kind and loving spirit who touched many lives and she will truly be missed.A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 5th, 2016 at Fort Lewis Baptist Church in Salem, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Emmaus Road Community Church.
