Eddie Arnold Meadows, II, age 39, of New Castle, Va. passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on Wednesday, May 16, 1979, to his “Mommy” Dellie Meadows and his “Daddy” Eddie Meadows, I in Richlands, Va. Eddie loved his profession as a Journeyman Lineman, in his profession he put others needs ahead of his own going wherever his electrical services were needed. He loved his wife, kids, family, and friends more than anything in the world. Aside from his work and family; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and woodworking. Eddie was inventive, he could see something once and recreate it usually better than the original. He was a self-taught MacGyver and noted as the best chocolate gravy maker in the world! He was also an avid clearance aisle shopper at Walmart. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his friend, Owen “Fat Meat” Dawson.
Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother include his wife, Allison “Alli” Meadows; son, Victor Meadows; daughter, Lilly Meadows; sisters, Dedra “Bunny” Baitis and husband, Robert and Angie Boyd; nieces and nephews, Brittany, Page, Jake, Savannah, Garrett, and Malachi; great-niece, Skylar; father-in-law, Lonzo Brizendine; mother-in-law, Debbie White and husband, Dennis; sister-in-law, Angie Brizendine.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at the Grace Assembly of God, 5530 Catawba Valley Drive, Catawba, Va. 24070.
Friends may visit with the family at the church after the service.
