Jeffrey Lee (Jeff)

Jeff Stephenson of Catawba, VA went home on Sunday, February 10, 2019, where he was greeted by family and friends who preceded him in death.

Jeff retired from Northwest Hardware, and was a member of Valley Word Church. Jeff served his Lord with his passion for music and music was his way of ministering to others.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Brenda of 44 years; his four children and their beautiful families; he was a devoted father to two sons, Joe (Megan) and Adam (Brandi) and two daughters, Wendi (Gabe) and Amie (Michael); Jeff was lovingly called D-Daddy by his five grandchildren, Ellie, Isabel, Carter, Sloan and Wesley, who were the apples of his eye; sister, Stephanie Shelton (Andy); and niece, Ashleigh. Jeff will forever be remembered by his family and friends.

On Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:30 am a celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at Valley Word Church, 1928 Loch Haven Drive, Roanoke, VA with Pastor Eddie Crabtree officiating and assisted by Pastor Ron Borer. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 am, followed by a celebration service and luncheon.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made in Jeff’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
