Condolence: Prayers go out to the family. When I first started at the Main Library in 1979 I worked with Diane we remained friends every since. Diane was a nice caring woman who loved her children very much. Anna as I called her, she our co-worker Cathy and I would go out to dinner from time to time, that was our way keeping in touch. To the family, know that she suffer no more.

Condolence: Christy, I always loved hearing about how you and your mother would go out to eat once a week and sometimes the two of you would get a mani and pedi together. What a cherished relationship you shared with your dear mother.

Condolence: Wayne and I were heartbroken to hear of Diane’s passing. We visited Diane and Kenny twice, in 1967 & 1968 when they lived in Florence, SC. She was a dear, sweet, generous and kind person. We send our condolences to all in her family. JoAnn & Wayne Ferguson Crozet, VA

Condolence: I was very sorry to hear my mother's, Irene Stanley, long time assistant, Diane Morris, from the Fine Arts Dept. of the Roanoke Public Library passed away. The last time Mama and I saw Diane was last summer when Mama was in rehab after her stroke. I knew Diane ever since I was a kid running around the library either waiting for Mama to go to lunch with me or waiting to go home with her after I spent the afternoon at a movie at the old Jefferson Theater. Mama, Diane and I spent a lot of hours carrying on about something in the Fine Arts Dept. She was a good friend and a good person. We are sincerely saddened to hear of her passing.
