Leslie Jean-Eve Martin Taylor, 60, of Roanoke, VA passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019. She was born January 7, 1959 in Roanoke, VA a daughter of the late, Melvin and Betsy Altizer Martin. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, David and John Martin.

Mrs. Taylor was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cook, crafting, bead work, sewing and making children’s clothing.

She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Chuck Edward Taylor; children, Dana Chittum and husband, Wayne, Charlie Taylor and Justin Taylor and wife, Angela; siblings, Dean Allen Martin, Kim Boone and husband, David, Tom Martin and wife, Sarah, and Jerry Martin; four grandchildren, Chance Taylor, Katelyn Taylor, Dylan Chittum and Ava Taylor.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem with Rev. Ben Mewald officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Private interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park.
