Obituary for Nancy Frank Joiner (Frank)

Nancy Frank Joiner (Frank)
Nancy Joiner, 59, of Salem, left this world for her eternal home on Monday, November 26, 2018, now residing in spirit with departed generations, including grandparents, parents, brothers and sisters, Stephanie, Edward, Deborah, and Roger. Nancy leaves behind ex-husband David; son, David (DJ); daughter-in-law, Sarah; brothers and sisters, Joan, Tom, Mark, Harvey, Martha; her beloved dog, Ellie (Belly).
Nancy had a particularly caring relationship with her niece Andrea McKenna and her children, great-niece, Rachel McKenna, two great-nephews, Deven, and Austin McKenna and delighted in their lives and accomplishments. She was also proud of her nephew Anthony Frank, his wife Sarah and their children, great-niece, toddler Deborah, and newborn Rebecca Frank.
Nancy suffered from diabetes and associated complications that progressed over the past seven years. She never complained, frequently commenting, “many others have it worse.” She faced life with love, purpose, commitment, and friendship. She loved the Lord, fervently believing in Jesus Christ as her Savior. She read her Bible daily and engaged in weekly Bible study with her brother and sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem, with an hour prior visitation.
