Mary Elizabeth  Sheppard (Epperly)
Mary Epperly Sheppard, 82, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 10, 2018, with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis Ervin and Mae Witt Epperly; and sister, Alma L. Dehart.
She is survived by her loving son, Carmel (Susie) Sheppard; grandchildren, Mandy (Jason) Otey , DJ (Sarah) Sheppard and Alex (Emily) Sheppard; seven great-grandchildren; two special sisters and brothers-in law, Jody (Bobby) Laprad and Glenna Croy (Gary) Hall; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lynwood (Doris) Epperly, J.C. (Trudy) Epperly, Luin (Betty) Epperly, and Michael (Pam) Epperly; one very special brother, Ervin J.R. Epperly with whom she lived with for many years; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Irby officiating. A committal will follow at Epperly Family Cemetery, Elliston.
