When I was about 4 years old or so, I wanted to go to work with Mammy and see my poppa. Well on this particular day, I got one of those rare "no not today" answers. Well, I decided that she really didnt mean no, so when she got seated in her truck, I jumped on to the driver's side step side of the truck and just held on as she left for work. When we hit the main highway, people were pointing and honking at her, but she had no earthly idea why, until she stopped the truck. There I was, just hanging on! She gave me what I deserved, the best spanking she could muster, which to me was like a real bad beating, because she had to do it. That was the last time I ever rode with her on the outside of a vehicle, and that was the only spanking she ever gave me. I knew from then on, when Mammy said no, she meant no!
