Ruth was my “other mother “ for a few years when she lived in Bristol VA. She was always sweet and hospitable, making sure I felt like family. I spent as much time at her home as I did my own. I’ve yet to have a fudge brownie as good as hers. I own many fond memories of their house in Larwood Acres, and those are the memories that make me a wealthy soul.
