When she was in her seventies and eighties, from time to time we'd go by Sis. Aker's home--a few times when I was riding my bike--and she'd be mowing on her riding mowing, enjoying every moment as she went up the rather steep short hill behind her house. She'd have on her wide-brimmed hat, . At the hospital recently we learned from relatives that she did this until about three years back or into her early nineties. Amazing woman! Full of spunk and fearless!
