Betty Fisher Weaver, 69, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 4, 2019.

She was preceded in death by parents, George and Minnie Fisher; and siblings, Everett Fisher, Della Schmidt, Minnie Ward, and Lucille Wampler.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ernie Weaver; sons, Eric Weaver and wife, Melissa, and Aaron Weaver and wife, Krista; sister, Shirley Anderson; brothers, Walter Fisher and Don Fisher; grandchildren, Brooke, Nolan, Neddy, Jasper, and Lily Weaver; special niece, Debbie Blevins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was a loving wife and mother who cherished her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends.

A period of visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019, at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the funeral home with a committal to follow at 3 p.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Marion, VA.
