Linda Pugh L. Lucas, age 77, of Roanoke, Va. passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 13, 2018. Linda was a retired Registered Nurse from Va. Baptist Hospital and a member of Monroe United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lola Keyser Pugh; son, Timothy Patrick Lucas; and brother, Robert H. Pugh.
She is survived by her husband, Roy W. Lucas; brother, William H. Pugh, sister, Peggy Jackson and husband, Nelson; cousins, Lora May Cunningham, Susan Orange, Ashley Tinsley, and Richard Thornhill, II; several nieces and nephews; and her canine companion Abbie.
Remember Linda by her smile and her kindness to others, there will be no visitation, and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family asks that memorial contributions may be made to Amherst County Humane Society.
