Obituary for Nadine Taliaferro Poff (Taliaferro)

Nadine Taliaferro Poff, 93, of St. Cloud Fla. and formerly of Salem, Va., went home to her Father resting in peace on Friday, April 27, 2018.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and enjoyed quilting and traveling.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Sidney (Jack) and Ruth Wheeler Taliaferro.

Her surviving family includes her children, Sidney Lee Poff and wife, Joni, William Dee Poff and wife, Cindy, and Larry Dale Poff and wife, Sherry; sisters, Margaret (Peggy) Reynolds and Betty Jo Hartsel; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Special thanks is extended to the Brothers and Sisters of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-day Saints St. Cloud Ward as well as Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care for their generosity of love.

Family members and friends may gather from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 6311 Wayburn Drive in Salem, Va. 24153. The funeral service will then begin at 10 a.m. with Bishop Joe Havens officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Sherwood Memorial Park, also in Salem.
