Obituary for Albert Ewell Bailey III
Albert Ewell (Bill) Bailey, III, 81, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2018.
Surviving him are his wife of 55 years, Elsie Wingfield Bailey; and his two children, Anne Bailey
Johnston and husband, Paul Michael, and Albert E. (Bill) Bailey, IV and wife, Karyl Camp; and grandchildren, Ian Hall, Parker Hall, Alexandra Bailey, and Albert E. (Quentin) Bailey, V.
His family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, Va. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018, from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 42 East Main Street in Salem, Va. A reception in the Parish Hall will immediately follow the service. Interment will then take place at 1:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Roanoke, Va.
