I was shocked to hear of Rogers passing. I was his Sergeant in the 229th Chemical Company. He was always full of surprises. The first time I met him he had bamboo shoots in his nose and in his ears. When he first arrived in the guard I was skeptical about him, but after the first summer camp he straightened out. He was a very hard worker and was a true friend tome and everyone in the maintenance shop. We enjoyed our drills and summer camps. He will truly be missed by his family and friends. I am proud to have know him and to have spent time with him. May god bless his family at this time.
