Condolence From: John C. Penny
Condolence: LUTHER OAKLEY MOSELEY was the grandson of my grandfather Luther A.B. Winfrey, Sr. and the great-grandson of my great grand-father, George Hill Winfrey. Among his great uncles were Joseph H. Winfrey, MD., Baptist ministers, Egbert Bolling Winfrey and E.W. (or W.E.) Winfrey.
In the providence of our Lord, who makes no mistakes, Luther had concluded his journey of life on this earth, leaving behind many relatives and friends whose lives he touched.
Luther was not a perfect man, although many will say he was a good man. But, by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, he finished his pilgrimage as a man who was a father and a grandfather, as a man gone to meet Jesus Christ through faith in Him who died and rose again so that none of those trusting in Him should perish.
Although, I do not feel able to make the trip to Salem for his funeral service, I hope all his family will be able to rejoice in knowing that Jesus Christ, who did all things well while He was upon this planet earth continues to do so.
Also, be reminded in your times of missing Luther that God is working all things together for good to those who love Him and that nothing, not even death can separate even one of His own from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
To God be glory both now and forever.
May the love of the living Lord give you peace through Jesus Christ.
My sympathy to the family and friends of Luther Moseley. May God the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who knows all your thoughts and heartachs comfort you in this time of sorrow for evermore.
John C. Penny, his mother’s oldest nephew

Condolence: I send my condolences in the lost of your loved one. There may be no words to truly express sympathy for your sorrow. I pray that you will take some comfort in the real hope that the Bible gives of being reunited with your loved one again.

In the Bible at John 5:28, 29 it reads, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Yes, the Bible promises that your loved one will come back to life again in the resurrection. (Acts 24:15) According to the Bible, soon death will be no more. (Revelation 21:3, 4)
