Condolence: Few will leave their mark on the good people of the Salem Church of Christ like Dewey and Virginia. The humblest of servants; their names are synonymous with our congregation. Both served daily in God's House for over 50 years. Dewey's presence will be missed. His smile will be remembered. His life will forever be a memorial of how to walk humbly with God. Condolence: For about 8 years, my Monday morning "counseling sessions" consisted of me, Dewey, and Virginia sitting in my office ... drinking coffee ... eating leftover Krispy Kreme donuts ... and usually talking about golf!
I loved to tell people that one of my best friends was 50 years older than me! One of the highlights of our friendship was hanging out at the Galax Fiddlers Convention.
