Ruby Cupp Eunice, 90, of Roanoke, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. She was born on April 7, 1923 in Montgomery County to the late James Ballard Cupp and Dora Mae Gearheart Cupp. She was a member of St. Phillips Lutheran Church. She loved working with her flowers, and loved many cats in her lifetime. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Eunice; sisters, Edith May Cupp Carr, Irene Virginia Cupp Braden, and Juanita Inez Cupp Amburgy; and brothers, Ira W. (Sonny) Cupp and Donald James Cupp. Family left to cherish her memory include her son, Ray Pillow and wife Gayle; sister, Darlene Marie Cupp Sutton and husband Don; grandsons, Keith Pillow and Robin Pillow and wife Patty Heany; and great grandson, Roland Donal Pillow. In honor of Mrs. Eunice’s wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers the family requests for donations to be made to the Roanoke Valley SPCA for cats, 1340 Baldwin Ave NE, Roanoke, VA 24012.
